change of heart

Have you ever had a change of heart? Have you ever just stopped and thought, wow 'I look at life totally different now'... that's how I have felt the last week.  I've been reflecting a lot on the life of the Savior. Reflecting on what he did for me.  And what am I doing about it. He gave his life so that I could be saved.  Who would do that? Only someone that loved us perfectly.  Someone who understood our Heavenly Fathers great plan for us.  That we can be extraordinary if only we had a way to make it there.  That is why Jesus Christ died for us.  He knows what we can become and is helping us get there. God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten son. But are we willing to yield our hearts to God? I know that we can as we have faith in God's plan for us.  As we pray and follow in His ways.  I love the scripture in Helaman 5 verse 35, it talks about a change of Heart and how it happens...
"...they did fast and pray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yeah even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts, which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God."

I pray that we can all find a way to yield our hearts to God.  I know that we have will have so much more joy and peace in our lives. I have felt that change of heart.  A new understanding of Gods plan.  I pray that I can continually pray and fast and wax stronger in humility.
